Our Family Forest Frontiers sessions are available for the whole family, the activities are ideal from young children who are able to walk and explore to primary school aged children! We want our sessions to be as inclusive and as family friendly as possible. Helping you experience and fully immerse yourselves in the natural world around us. Children and family members are supported in their learning through an holistic approach which can encourages the exploration of the outdoor environment and an appreciation for nature. We personalised activities to suit all children’s interest.

The activity is targetted at people with Parkinson's.  It consists of a one hour relaxing Nordic Walking session followed by a relaxing social time and a drink in the Cafe.  The session starts at 13.30 and lasts for one hour.  There is no cost for the session, but bring a small amount of money for the cafe afterwards. The session caters specifically for people with Parkinson's and is run by British Nordic Walking Instructors experienced in delivering activities with people with Parkinson's. Here on the Sabden site, we are passionate about helping people grow their own veg at home, we also use our community growing beds to grow produce which is donated out into the community. We meet every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday between 10-3.  If you would like to become a volunteer at Sabdens and help with the upkeep of the site, planting, growing, harvesting, chicken husbandry, and lots more activities please get in touch.

Come and join in the outdoor fun! This session is suitable for young babies to early walkers!We take part in a range of nature multi-sensory activities whilst being in the great outdoors. In our sessions, we want to encourage the development of imaginative play. What do I need to bring? Not an awful lot! Come in suitable outdoor clothing for our ever-changing weather.A reusable cup for drinks by the campfire.And more importantly yourselves!Anything you may need for a good morning out! As always you can expect to get dirty!
