We are a social club for older people in the area, we have a variety of activities going on including arts and crafts, games, quizzes, weekly prize draw and also have speakers in on a range of subjects. There's always cake and drinks and during the winter months free soup and roll too. It's a great way to get out of the house, enjoy some company and make friends. Free to attend during winter, £1.50 per session at other times includes refreshments and prize draw entry.

What is Bolton parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please registerbefore you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode If you forget it, you won't get a time.
How fast do I have to be?
We all take part for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

Breightmet Butterflies is a women's group based at the Elderdale Community Centre on Friday mornings, 10-12.
We do a variety of activities including wellbeing activities, art, crafts etc to support the mental health of any woman in Breightmet who may need extra support and friendship.

Conservation tasks on Seven Acres LNR, outdoor education, and nature-based activities. Our work is carried out on Seven Acres with occasional visits to other areas. We are an easygoing group that is open to all abilities and ages (16+). Socialisation is important to us so we drink plenty of tea and eat cake out in the park on task days.
