We believe that this activity is designed to be inclusive and welcoming for individuals with additional needs. However, we would recommend contacting the provider before attending, just to confirm they can accommodate your specific requirements.

The sessions are organised and funded by the Haulgh Hub (usually based at Sea Cadets, next door), but held at Ukrainian Club, who kindly allow us to use the hall.

Tai Chi and Qigong with experienced instructor Joanne Barton. The sessions are suitable for all ages and help to build core strength and help to improve balance and coordination. 

The exercises can be adjusted to suit all abilities, including being adaptable as a chair-based activity.

A weekly class suited for both beginners and the more experienced.  Helps build flexibility, balance, strength and mental well-being. Each class involves movement, breath-work and relaxation.  Adjustments and alternatives offered for poses to accommodate old injuries/conditions where possible. 

Thursday EVENINGS from 6.00 to 7.00pm. Bring your own mat.  Contact me for further details.  Current charge: £20 monthly for 4 classes.  Come and try your first class for free
