I'm a civils champion and happy to be called upon where I might be able to help.   I joined community champions through my work in Bolton Council, passing covid messages within the Council and via social media.   I left work in November 2022 and now exploring new opportunities as well as enjoying family time and activities that I've had very little time for in the past.  I enjoy the usual things like swimming, cycling, walking, sewing, gardening. I love crafts, even though I'm quite rubbish and I like learning new stuff.  

I have 34 years knowledge and experience from working at Bolton Council on areas:  voluntary and community sector;  regeneration and renewal; neighbourhood management; tackling deprivation; community saftey, cohesion and safeguarding against extremism.  I have experience of civil contingencies processes and community interaction.   My job was a personal heart felt conviction and I'm keen to continue making a positive contribution to these issues that I hold dear.
