Night Run Bolton – something for everyone

First run, fun run or personal best – Bolton’s Night Run has something for almost every age and ability.

Whether you are a seasoned athlete, a dedicated jogger, new to running or prefer to walk, there’s an option to suit you.

It's fun and friendly, with great support, cheering crowds and a fabulous finish along the red carpet in front of the town hall making it a special day.

And with up to 1,800 people taking part, it’s set to be a world beater.

Choose your distance

Night Run Bolton offers a 5k or 10k route with everyone receiving an official time, t-shirt and finisher medal. Choose your distance when you register.

Run for fun

Many people join Night Run for the experience and to enjoy the atmosphere along the route.

Expect a sense of achievement topped off with the chance to finish in front of the crowds in Victoria Square and collect your finisher medal.

Experienced runners

With 5k and 10k routes that are traffic-free and mainly flat, plus official timings, Night Run is great for experienced runners.

There’s the chance to run through Bolton town centre and Queens Park with a great atmosphere and the support of crowds along the route.

New to running

Signing up for Night Run is an ideal way to get healthier and stay motivated in a supportive and enjoyable way by having something to aim for.

If you are new to running, a Couch to 5k programme could be perfect for you.

It’s a friendly and fun way to get exercising that's proven to work. It starts slowly and builds your fitness with achievable goals.

Run as a team

Doing Night Run Bolton as team means you can have fun, get to know each other and build team spirit. Run for charity to give your efforts an added importance.

Form a team to receive:

  • One complimentary entry for every 15 team members registered
  • Designated meeting place and start line group photo 30 minutes before the start
  • Group pack and t-shirt collection by your team captain
  • Team name displayed on bib
