Bolton Council are reviewing the leisure services we offer across our borough. To help us do this, we would like your views about what's being done well and what could be improved.

Our service range from facilities and sessions at our leisure centres to sessions and equipment in our parks and other green spaces.

Bolton Council have five leisure centres being managed by Serco on Behalf of Bolton Council Leisure Trust and one managed and run by Bolton Middlebrook Leisure Trust.  These include:

  • Farnworth Leisure Centre
  • Horwich Leisure Centre
  • Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre
  • Sir Jason Kenny Centre (Bolton One)
  • Westhoughton Community Leisure Centre are managed by SERCO on behalf of Bolton Community Leisure Trust.
  • Bolton Arena Sports Village (managed by Middlebrook Leisure Trust)

The council wants to thoroughly review the way our leisure centres are run and are inviting residents, businesses and wider stakeholders to have their say.

By taking part in this consultation, you can help us make sure that any new leisure offer provides best value for the council, but also sets out how our leisure centres are run so that they offer the right services in the right way for everyone who want to use them.
